Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen. We email a reset code to your account address — check spam if it does not arrive within a few minutes. If you signed up with Google, sign in with Google instead; there is no password on that account.

Use Resend verification email in the app, and check your spam or promotions folder. If it still does not arrive, email us from the address you registered with and we will verify the account manually.

No. PFM is free to use — there is nothing to buy in the app, we never ask for payment details, and there are no ads.

Single deletes are recoverable — the entry is marked deleted rather than erased, and can be restored. Bulk deletes of past months work the same way. Ask us if you need help restoring a range.

Open the account, go to Settings and choose Leave account. If you are the owner, transfer ownership to another member first — otherwise the account and its history are deleted for everyone in it.

Check that notifications are allowed for PFM in your device settings, then confirm the per-type toggles in the app (budget alerts, expense activity, member activity, email). Reinstalling the app registers a fresh push token, which also fixes most delivery problems.

Yes. You can export your expenses and reports to CSV from the app. For a full copy of everything we hold, email us from your account address and we will send it within 30 days.
